My main goal with this project was to build a practical loan calculator that went beyond simply returning a monthly repayment figure. I wanted to create a tool that combined salary, tax, and mortgage calculations in one place, while presenting the results through a clear and interactive interface. I also wanted to help users better understand their financial position, whether that meant exploring how much they could comfortably invest each month or seeing how extra payments could reduce their mortgage term and overall interest.
